Rear Spring Installation

Spring Installation

We would like to thank Co “aka BlackCherry808” for letting us do this feature for our tech section on how to install lowering springs on an xB and also since the xA has the same suspension. We used Goldline drop springs which gave us an even drop of 2 inches front and rear.
The installation is pretty simple if you have all necessary tools. One of the main tools to do this job safely is a spring compressor for the front struts. The springs in the front struts are compressed and if done without proper tooling, it can result in injury or damage to you vehicle. The Swap over should take on an average about 2 hours to complete.
After springs are installed we highly recommend having your vehicle re aligned.

Tools needed
1. Jack
2. 2 or 4 Jack Stands
3. Spring Compressor “must have”
4. Metric Sockets and Wrenches

Good Luck!
