Lunch
Box Run

It
was a perfect day for a short cruise around the island. It was a
little gloomy and the night before it rained. Thanks to
"T" CutebB the cruise was a success. Although
"T" couldn't make the cruise because she was on a trip,
members of SE Hawaii helped to finish what "T" had
organized. There was a good show of about 17 Scions, some being
just bought days before the cruise and some modified tricked out
scions, mostly xB's and one tC. The cruise started at the Servco
Scion dealer were everyone got to meet each other and check out
each others rides. As usual we were on Hawaiian time and in no
rush to leave and start the cruise. At about 10am everyone lined
up and left the dealer heading down to Nimitz highway. along
Honolulu's coastline to Kaka'ako Park where we stopped to take
pictures and mingle. At about 11am the convoy left and took a
cruise through Hawaii's well known beach Ala Moana Beach Park
where beach users got to see a convoy of boxes on wheels, from
there we headed down to Kalakaua Blvd. in Waikiki where tourists
were again amazed to see all these boxes on wheels, we than headed
up the world famous landmark in Hawaii "Diamond Head".
From there the cruise headed down to Hawaii Kai boat harbor where
we stopped to take pictures. After all that driving everyone was
hungry, so everyone went out to get a bite to eat at Koko Marina
Shopping Center. I guess after lunch the cruise kind of broke up
and those that were full from lunch had to take a nap or
something, so only a handful went on to end the cruise at Sandy
Beach. See you all at the next meet!
